About

The Hometown Inn is owned and operated by Stephanie Eaton.  Her and her husband Merlin purchased this home in March of 2015 and began the process of remodeling it.  The home was built in the 1930's and features large living spaces and a concrete front porch for watching the traffic.  It is located on the corner of Main and Elm Streets just two blocks from downtown Cole Camp Missouri.  Some of the remodeling consisted of new windows, and a new granite bar for the kitchen.  The walls have been textured and painted and the bathroom was completely redone.  The Eaton's were happy to find beautiful oak wood flooring under the old carpeting.  They decided on both old and new décor.  Many antique oak pieces have been added along with Stephanie's grandmothers old oak table and chairs.  Stephanie is a lifelong resident of Cole Camp until moving to Warsaw Missouri a few years ago.  She wanted a place in her "hometown" to still have her community connection and to meet up with family and friends so she purchased this home.  She decided to open The Hometown Inn to share her love for this home with others.  Stephanie and Merlin enjoy gardening and tending to the yard.  Future plans include more landscaping and more renovations to the upstairs living area.  The Eaton's have four daughters and one granddaughter.  They enjoy traveling and hope you will enjoy The Hometown Inn as much as they do.
